C/C++ Embedded Systems & Algorithms
I’m Yannick, a C++ developer focused on embedded systems, low-latency programming, and graphics. I care about performance and precision while still maintaining a good code quality. I’m a social person who enjoys collaborating and connecting with people just as much as solving hard technical problems. I’m always curious to learn something new, whether that’s a different corner of C++ or a completely new area of tech.
Things I Like:
A feature-packed embedded alarm clock with multi-alarm support, gesture and button snoozing, IR remote navigation, and persistent memory so nothing resets on power loss.
A slide presentation engine written entirely in 6502 assembly, running natively on the NES, built with a team of 5.
A physically-based deferred renderer built in Vulkan from scratch, featuring Cook-Torrance BRDF shading, HDR image-based lighting, shadow-mapped point and directional lights, and a full HDR-to-LDR post-processing pipeline.
